Call for Proposals: SKYLINE
The Swedish Energy Agency and the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in New York (SACCNY) invite Swedish companies with innovations in sustainable buildings, cities, or urban energy systems to apply to the Skyline Accelerator.
Why New York?
New York is currently investing billions in energy efficiency, electrification, and next-generation infrastructure. The sharp increase in energy demand from new data centers and energy-intensive industries, combined with the U.S.’s most progressive climate legislation for buildings, is driving rapidly growing demand for scalable, high-performance solutions for sustainable buildings and urban energy systems.
What do companies get?
Skyline Accelerator helps Swedish companies overcome market barriers and turn opportunities in New York into concrete business deals. The program offers strategic consulting and market analysis, tailored business development support, and matchmaking with potential customers, partners, pilot projects, and investors. The program runs from June to November and includes two delegation trips to New York, where companies are introduced to leading decision-makers in the energy and real estate sectors. They also gain visibility at high-profile meetings and events, including with Team Sweden during Climate Week NYC—New York’s major climate week.
Who is eligible to apply?
Skyline caters to small and medium-sized Swedish companies with products and solutions for sustainable buildings, cities, and urban energy systems. These include energy efficiency and optimization, electrification, data centers, virtual power grids, energy storage, HVAC, district heating, infrastructure, and building materials with a low climate impact.
The program is funded by the Swedish Energy Agency and is free of charge for selected companies; space is limited.
